CYCLING TEAM
Our history with the Boulder Masters Cycling Team goes all the way back to 1960, when Le Peep Boulder owner Alan Teran, Le Peep franchise owner Allen Bernstein and Boulder Masters founding member Marc Bekoff were high school classmates in Roslyn, New York. The trio reconnected in Boulder almost 25 years later in 1984, when Alan had recently opened Le Peep Boulder and Marc had just formed the Boulder Masters team with his friends Brad Wallace, Lawrence Bosch and Andy Pruitt. Le Peep Boulder jumped on the chance to sponsor the up-and-coming team of talented cyclists to race in the United States, Canada, and Europe. 35 years, 55 national titles, eight world titles and seven world records later, the partnership between Le Peep and the Boulder Masters Cycling team — which includes more than 40 members of all ages, from mid-30s to mid-70s — is still going strong. If you ever see a group of hungry cyclists at Le Peep Boulder, swing by their table and say hello.
